Conceived by four students of the University of Canterbury School of Fine Arts, ‘Will This Make Our Relationship Awkward’ investigates the connection between objects and ideas, contributing to the time honoured dialogue that has surrounded object making since the dawn of modernism. The work will explore problems associated with object making, questioning why these problems arise, and challenging traditional notions of form and space.
